A lot of time, effort and expense goes into planning a wedding and it’s impossible to take it all in. A professionally produced film provides a complete record of the day’s formal events, as well as candid moments that you miss. Your film will become a priceless snapshot of your family history, something that can be looked back on over the years and passed on to future generations. We regularly get last minute enquiries from couples who initially weren’t going to have a video but nearer the wedding have been convinced by friends and family that they will regret it if they don’t. The main things that determine the running time of your film are the number of guests, the duration of the ceremony and the speeches. After editing, a typical wedding film lasts one and a half to two hours.

It depends on the time of year and how busy we are, also if we are waiting for music to be decided. In general, we quote three to four weeks where we do not have a backlog of editing in the earlier part of the year. Our editing backlog builds up between mid summer and the end of the year, the longest delivery time can be as much as three to four months. We aim to have the editing complete as soon as possible after the wedding, but will never compromise standards or rush things, regardless of how busy we are. We will provide an estimated delivery when we have our pre-wedding meeting, the week before the wedding.

We have built an impeccable reputation for reliability, quality and consistency and restrict our bookings to one wedding per day so that Mark personally films every wedding. This also ensures a technical consistency with the very expensive, broadcast grade of equipment we own and operate being employed on all weddings.

We take pride in portraying a professional image in every regard and our wedding day attire is a suit, shirt and tie. A smart over-jacket is worn when the weather dictates.

High Definition (HD) is not a passing fad that might not catch on – HD is definitely here to stay and in time will supersede standard definition (SD) video.

If you wish to future proof your wedding film for as many years as possible, we would highly recommend having your day filmed, edited and produced in HD onto Blu-ray disc.

If you choose Blu-ray as an option, you will also receive regular SD DVDs in your package to allow family and friends who do not have a Blu-ray player to watch your film on regular DVD players.

The benefit of recording in HD is that the picture resolution (1920×1080) is around four times that of SD video (720×576). This results in much more detail, clarity and vivid colours when viewed on a HD-capable screen and HD Blu-ray player.

All our facilities are the latest HD technology available and also to a grade of camera equipment more akin to high end broadcast events, TV soaps and dramas – setting a UK wedding industry first investing £30k+ in our main camera. We believe that we are the only wedding film makers in the country to use a camera of this grade and level of investment. Mark reviewed the camera we use for two professional video magazines (PDW-700 magazine review) This camera has set a new standard in HD imaging quality and produces outstandingly noise free, sharp and bright colourful pictures in all light conditions including candle lit wedding venues.

Bookings are on a first come basis and dates are reserved when payment of the booking fee is made and a booking form has been received.
