Erin & Kevin | St Machar’s Cathedral & The Marcliffe at Pitfodels

Ceremony: St Machar’s Cathedral
Reception: The Marcliffe at Pitfodels
Photographer: Sam Brill and Alastair Robb

I love it when Brides come up with a great track for their highlights and Erin certainly did that! Its a fast one for sure and has gone down really well with Erin and Kevin’s family and friends.

Erin brought her mum and dad along to our pre-wedding meeting since Kevin was working offshore and from that moment on it was clear to see that the Sherret’s were a lovely family. I received a thank you letter from Mhorvan, the brides father just after the wedding which was very thoughtful and kind, especially since they hadn’t received their film at that stage. After they received their DVDs and Blu-ray discs I have received numerous emails, texts and phone calls from Erin and her parents showing their appreciation for their film. Honestly, it was a pleasure to meet you all and to be a part of Erin and Kevin’s day!

In case you missed the Bride and Father’s dance clip from an earlier blog post, its a must watch and included below. Boy did they pull it off and put on a great show for all their guests!

Congratulations and best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs McGairy!

Laura & Kevin | St Machar’s Cathedral & Meldrum House Hotel

Ceremony: St Machar’s Cathedral
Reception: Meldrum House Hotel
Photographer: The Studio

I filmed Laura’s sister Louise’s wedding a few years ago and it was a pleasure to meet the Merchant family again.

I’ve never seen the highland coos at Meldrum House Hotel with so much energy and as you can see, they even posed for a bridal group photograph!

Quite a different cake top piece, with impressive camels and a mini Laura and Kevin! The couple now work and live in Dubai and wanted to add some touches from the Middle East!

5 star service as always from Peter and his team from Meldrum House Hotel

Congratulations and best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs Sutherland!

Johanna & John | St Machar’s Cathedral & Meldrum House Hotel

Ceremony: St Machar’s Cathedral
Reception: Meldrum House Hotel
Photographer: Martin Leckie
Band: Graham Geddes

I’ve been bumping into Johanna and John at their friends weddings and wedding exhibitions for years and their big day seemed a long time coming. As they say, time flies! And before we knew it, their day had arrived!

It was clear to see that Johanna and John both absolutely love and adore one another; they smiled, laughed and looked lovingly at each other throughout the photo shoot and the rest of the day!

There’s often something new or different  that occurs at  a wedding and Johanna’s deviation from the norm was the term “Bro-maids” she coined. Well, instead of Bridesmaids, Johanna’s two brothers were asked to take on the role and a name had to be found for them! Bro-maids it was!

It was good to be back at Meldrum House Hotel and be entertained by Graham Geddes.

Congratulations and best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs Armstrong! Really chuffed for you both and best wishes for your exciting and new start to married life in Abu Dhabi!
